<p>PURPOSE:To effectively use adsorbent, by replacing in turn a cage saturated with a gas to be adsorbed at the 1st step, with a cage charged with a new adsorbent, in a gas adsorbing tower in which cages filled with adsorbents are arranged in multi-step. CONSTITUTION:Cages 9a and 9b filled with gas adsorbents 3 respectively are arranged in multi-step in an adsorbing tower 1. Then a gas, containing foreign matters, is introduced from a gas inlet port 4. Next, gas is sampled from both the spaces of the cage 9a at the 1st step and the cage 9b at the 2nd step to measure the content of foreign matters. Then a saturated cage is extracted, and a cage at the next step is shifted to the preceding step in sequence to replenish a cage filled with a new adsorbent to the final step in turn. Thus the adsorbent is completely utilized until it breaks.</p> |
