PURPOSE:To suppress the unbalance in the currents of respective phases by providing a current suppressing circuit which suppresses the current supply to a phase to be excited continuously upon generation of new exciting phase for the prescribed period of time. CONSTITUTION:A current suppressing circuit 100 is inserted between a phase switching circuit 1 and exciting circuits 30A-30E. In the circuit 100, the exciting signals of the respective phases are applied directly to one input terminals of AND gates A1-A5, A6-A10, and are applied through a delay circuit which has a resistor R1, a condenser C1 and an inverter IN1 to the other input terminals of the AND gates A1-A5. A phase discrimination signal is applied directly to one input terminal of an NAND gate NA1, and is applied through a delay circuit which has a resistor R2, a condenser C2 and an inverter IN2 for delaying the prescribed period of time to the other input terminal of the NAND gate NA1. The circuit 10 suppresses the current supply to the phase to be continuously excited at the time of generating new phase to be excited for the prescribed period of time. |
