<p>PURPOSE:To perform an ideal excitation control for a system which is approached to an operation stability limit by applying a field current of a generator as a feedback input signal to a power system stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:A field current If of a generator 1 is used as an input to a power system stabilizer 3, the output of the stabilizer 3 is used as a compensation signal for the deviation signal between the terminal voltage VG of the generator and the set voltage Vref of the generator, and is applied to an automatic pulse phase shifter 11. Since the varied component of the field current of the generator has the same phase component as the fluctuation of the phase difference angle of the generator, the power fluctuation suppressing effect of the power system can be enhanced even when it is used in the vicinity of the operation stability limit.</p> |
