PURPOSE:To effectively prevent defect occurrence of dispersion to the strand of roving in such a way that in the occasion of winding the roving, strand in the reverse direction to the strand produced when the roving is drawn out beforehand is given to the roving. CONSTITUTION:A roving 2 is drawn out in the axial direction from the inside of a roving convolved body (A), the roving 2 which has been drawn out is wound up to be the same sized shape as the convolved body (A), by which a roving convolved body B is made. Since the drawn-out roving is given one time of strand per the winding length L, and the convolved bodies (A), B are given the same size, the winding length of each zone of the convolved body (A) is entirely the same as the winding length of the convolved body B to be its counterpart. In consequence, strandless roving can be obtained in such a way that the roving 2 is drawn out of the convolved body B in the direction given the strand in the reverse direction to the strand which has been given when the roving 2 is drawn out of the convolved body (A) (the direction of reverse strand). |
