<p>In this process for removing the plastic insulation from the metal of electrical cables, the latter are introduced into the perforated drum of a centrifuge and are then heated up to the melting point. After the plastic is liquefied, it is separated from the metal by means of the centrifugal forces produced during the rotation of the perforated drum and is centrifuged out through the holes of the perforated drum.</p> |
