PURPOSE:To obtain a low-calorific solid sweetener mixture having stable quality, keeping the sweeteness of the individual constituent sweeteners, by impregnating a solution of a sweetener having high sweetness into a solid product obtained by forming a saccharide. CONSTITUTION:One or more saccharide sweeteners such as monosaccharides, disaccharides, powdery sugar alcohol, etc. are formed to a solid cube having arbitrary shape by conventional method. Separately, an aqueous solution or an alcoholic solution of a sweetener having high sweetness is prepared. The sweetener is e.g. a sweetening substance extracted from licorice, Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, or Hydrangea serrata, saccharin or its salt, dihydrochalocones, aspartylphenylalanine lower alkyl esters, etc. A definite amount of the solution is impregnated in the individual cube of the above sugar sweetener, e.g. by dripping, and the impregnated cube is dried to obtain the objective solid sweetener. |
