PURPOSE:To obtain a biaxially kneading and extruding apparatus having a good kneading action and an excellent cooling effect, by juxtaposing a pair of tapered cone type rotors that have specified kneading blades and extruding blades continuously and can be rotated reversely with respect to each other. CONSTITUTION:Tapered cone type rotors 2 are juxtaposed in an extruder body 1 with them rotatable reversely with respect to each other. The kneading blades 3 are positioned on the outer circumferential surfaces of base sides 2a, which occupy the major halves of the rotors 2, and extend at an angle alpha of 5-30 deg. with the axis (a) of the rotors 2, the extruding blades 4 are projected on the outer circumferential surfaces of discharge sides 2b continuously with the kneading blades 3, and extend at an angle beta of 50-85 deg. with the axis (a), a kneading chamber 5 is positioned at molding sections of the kneading blades 3, and a loading port 6 for a raw material spans over the kneading chamber 5 and throughout all over the opening of the chamber 5. |
