PURPOSE:To obtain a blow molded item that is transparent even though a crytalline resin is employed, by arranging blocks, which include heating means, between cavity molds and mold attaching plates, which will be brought into contact with the cavity molds while the molds are opened, and on the other hand which will be moved away from the cavity molds while the molds are clamped. CONSTITUTION:The rear molds (blocks) 2, 2 including heating means are arranged between the cavity molds 1, 1 having cooling elements and the mold attaching plates 3, 3, and the molds 2, 2 will be brought into firm contact with the cavity molds while the cavity molds are opened, but the molds 2, 2 will be moved away from the cavity molds while the cavity molds are clamped. While the molds are opened, the cavity molds 1 are brought into firm contact with the rear molds 2 to be heated, the clamping is effected with the cavity wall surfaces being heated, a resin is injected, and after the injection the cavity molds 1, 1 are cooled, so that a transparent blow molded item can be efficiently produced. |
