SPEED CHANGE OPERATING DEVICE FOR MANUAL SPEED CHANGER

PURPOSE:To exclude the generation of pinch of a shift fork and to improve the ease of vari-speed operation, by moving the shift fork incorpoartedly with a fork shaft through the rotation of a lever shaft. CONSTITUTION:A reverse shift arm is movably providied at the right end of both fork shafts 27 and 31 axially. While the right movement of a shift arm is restricted with a latch pin 33 fitted to the 2nd fork shaft 31, this arm is incorporated with a one-way pin 36 to be latched with latch grooves 34 and 35 opposing to both the fork shafts 27 and 31. A shift and selection lever shaft 39 is laterally suspended axially movably and rotatably so that the shaft 39 is orthogonal to the shafts 27 and 31. A latch projection B is projected downward to an inner lever 44 and this projection B is latched to a latch groove A of the 2nd shift fork 26 at the lever shaft 39 at the neutral position.
