PURPOSE:To ensure the even destaticization of a dielectric layer, by activating substantially the ion attached on the charged surface of a dielectric matter. CONSTITUTION:When the heat destaticization is carried out for the surface potential of a dielectric layer 11 by the heating of a heat roller 7, an ion attaches on the surface of a dielectric layer 2 by the electric charge applied by a precharger 2. In this case, the ion attaches evenly to the layer 2, and as a result the surface of the layer 11 is charged evenly. Then the surface of the layer 11 is heated to activate the ion layer. Thus the ion is dispersed and erased, and the surface potential of the layer 11 is eliminated. |
