PURPOSE:To prevent a stain of a transfer material guide at low or high humidity, by constituting a lower guide of the transfer material with a conductive member, and forming a high polymer material having a small friction coefficient and <=10<6>OMEGAcm electric resistance on the lower guide surface and grounding the lower guide via a constant-voltage element. CONSTITUTION:The upper and lower guides 2 and 3 guide a transfer material P to a copying part. The guide 3 is formed with a conductive member, and a high polymer material layer 3a is formed on the surface of the guide 3. The high polymer material has a small friction coefficient to the material P with a conducting process applied to ensure approximately <=10<6>OMEGAcm electric resistance. Furthermore the material P is grounded via a constant voltage element such as a varister 7. A varister 7 of rated 600V, for example, is used to keep the potential of the guide 3 at 500-700V even in the high humidity circumferences. Thus the deteroration of copy quality caused with high humidity can be avoided, and at the same time a stain caused on the rear of an image with the normal or low humidity can be prevented. |
