PURPOSE:To eliminate a moire pattern and to reduce the roughness for a gravure screen, by using a pattern including numbers of irregular folded lines having cut parts. CONSTITUTION:The intersections (e.g., A-F) of a pattern (dotted lines) of 2- dimensional regular squares adjacent to each other are shifted at random (average shift distance: about 1/4 length of a side of a square; standard deviation of said shift distance: about 1/8 length of a side of a square; shift direction: all angles around intersections). The obtained points A'-F' are connected (solid lines) with a relation equivalent to that between original intersections. Thus a pattern including irregular squares is obtained. Then the segments of lines connecting among intersections and having smaller length than a prescribed value (shown by dotted lines) are erased to obtain a pattern. Using this pattern, a gravure screen is formed. |
