The door leaf (1), which is guided at the top in run-back rails (2), is articulated at the bottom on supporting levers (5) which are pivotable about fixed pivot pins (4). A tension spring (8) acting counter to the weight-related door-leaf moment is fastened to an extension (6) of the supporting lever (5), the said extension leading beyond the pivot pin (4). This extension (6) is designed as a curved segment, over which runs a roller chain (7) which is fastened at one end to the curved segment and at the other end to the tension spring (8). The radial differences of the approximately parabolically curved surface are selected so that, during the pivoting of the supporting lever (5), the lever arm of the spring-tension moment changes continuously in such a way that the respective spring-tension moment is in equilibrium with the weight-related moment of the door leaf (1) in virtually every one of its tilting positions. Consequently, the door leaf (1) is stable in every position and the effort needed to tilt the door leaf is minimal. <IMAGE>
