Method and device for providing correct advance aiming for the gunner in the aiming instrument 5 in a weapon 1 in an aiming procedure against a movable target 3. The method and the device comprise steps and means, respectively, for calculating the expression (αx ts)/(t+ts), whereαis an arbitrary turning of the weapon from a position in which a target takes up a reference position in the aiming instrument, ts is the shooting time, and t is the time passed from a predetermined point of time (t0), at which the target takes up said reference position. A travelling point of light 13 in the aiming instrument is constantly positioned forward of said reference position at a distance from the latter given by the expression (αx ts)/(t+ts), whereby hit at the target is expected to happen if the weapon is fired when the target and the point of light is coinciding in the aiming instrument. <IMAGE> |
