PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of a rotary electric machine without reducng the cooling efficiency by bending solely or in a laminated state a split ring-shaped radiating plate and mounting the plate. CONSTITUTION:Blades 7 are provided at one end side of a rotor 2, and cooling ventilating means 13 is provided at the other end side. The means 13 has a plurality of split ring-shaped radiating plates 14a-14c, which radiate the heat generated at the rotor 2 upon rotation of the rotor so that the heat can be escaped upwardly by the split parts formed at the plates 14a-14c. In this manner, the noise can be reduced without reducing the cooling efficiency. |
