PURPOSE:To reduce counting loss while attaining effective extraction of positional information from a detector by constructing a simultaneous counting circuit to enable the independent detection of simultaneous counting couples in position detection groups divided as specified. CONSTITUTION:Address detection circuits are arranged for respective position detecting groups 3 divided in nine. Latch circuits 12A-12D and the like are so controlled by an encoder circuit 9, a timing circuit 11 and latch time signals 15a-15d and the like to detect four simultaneous counting couples making up the groups 3 independently addressing them. This construction of independently detecting these simultaneous counting couples makes it possible to remove two false simultaneous counting couples in such a manner that it is done so once they are extracted with two true simultaneous counting couples. This eliminates any detection circuit otherwise required for checking a multiplexing phenomenon between the detection groups, which allows effective extraction of positional information from the detectors heretofore duscarded as multiplexing phenomena while decreasing the counting rate of input signals to each simultaneous counting circuit to lower the counting loss. |
