PURPOSE:To cool the titled heat collector automatically by a method wherein in the event the heat collector is heated to an abnormal temperature, a configuration memory alloy is deformed and an opening and shutting plate connected to the alloy is opened so that the interior of the heat collector communicates with the atmosphere to thereby cool the body of a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A configuration memory alloy 7 is arranged within the outer casing 1 of a solar heat collector. When the body of the heat collector is heated to an abnormally high temperature, the configuration memory alloy 7 is returned to its original configuration so that the opening and shutting plate 6 connected to the alloy 7 through a transmitting member 8 is opened automatically to allow the interior of the outer casing 1 of the heat collector to communicate with the atmosphere and a convection air current generates within the outer casing 1, to thereby cool a heat collecting pipe 3. |
