PURPOSE:To obtain a building fiberboard capable of reducing warpage deformation, by a method wherein a raw board is formed from a slurry consisting of a binder, an inorg. fiber and water by a papermaking machine and grooves are formed to the back surface side thereof at right angles to a fiber direction. CONSTITUTION:A slurry is formed from a binder (cement or starch), an inorg. fiber (an asbesto fiber or a glass fiber) and water and the raw base board of a building fiberboard is formed from the slurry by a Fourdriner papermaking machine. In the next process, plural grooves 3 are formed to the back surface 2 of the base raw board A so as to be arranged at right angles to a fiber direction by protruded parts 5 provided to a rectangular drain iron plate 4 at the same time when the raw board is dehydrated through a dehydrating felt 7 by an upper mold 6. In forming the grooves, a roll molding machine consisting of a lower roll having protruded parts and a upper patterned roll may be used. The obtained base raw board of the building fiberboard is aged to obtain the building fiberboard. |
