PURPOSE:To improve the durability, maneuverability and rolling resistance under the condition that the predetermined aspect ratio and high inflation pressure are employed by a structure wherein the rubber-coated layer of the belt of a tread is composed of a cord layer coated with coating rubber, which has predetermined modulus and dynamic elastic modulus under elongation. CONSTITUTION:Two layers of steel cord are employed as the belt 2 and the belt 2 is coated with coating rubber, which has the modulus of 4.0-10.0kg/cm<2> and the dynamic elastic modulus of 16.2-40.5kg/cm<2>. Owing to the structure as described above, no lowering of the durability and maneuverability under the condition that the tire has the aspect ratio of no more than 0.7 and is used inflated at the internal pressure as comparatively high as the order of 2.0-3.0kg/ cm<2> and the improvement of the rolling resistance can be resulted. |
