PURPOSE:To prevent output torque from fluctuating even if engine load varies in a range where the air-fuel ratio varies, in case that the air-fuel ratio is made to vary in accordance with the engine load. CONSTITUTION:Detecting switches 112 through 114 are provided in an intake air passage for detecting negative pressure therein. Stationary contact points (1), (m) in each of these switches 112 through 114 are successively connected in the numerical order according as negative pressure in an intake manifold 23 decreases. The said switches 112 through 114 are provided with delay units B for sending signals to a fuel supply unit shortly after the negative pressure varies. This fuel supply unit changes the air fuel ratio in accordance with the output signals of the detecting switches 112 through 114.
