PURPOSE:To construct sand-bag pillars having specified diameter and shape by a method in which a sand-bag pillar having a circular part in contact with its bottom outside is brought down in a casing in such a way as to enable sand to be packed fully in the sand-bag pillar. CONSTITUTION:A sand-bag pillar 9 is brought down in a casing 4 by touching a circular part 18 to the outside bottom of the sand-bag pillar 9 and then packing sand into the sand-bag pillar 9 in the casing 4. When the sand-bag pillar 9 reaches the surface of water W in the casing 4, pressure originated from the weight of the sand-bag pillar 9 is applied to the water W and the water W in the casing 4 is discharged through a drain pipe 17 from a drain port 16, coupled with the action of a drain pump. After the sand-bag pillar 9 reaches the bottom, the casing 4 is pulled up, along with a bottom cover 20 and the sand-bag pillar is slowly brought down in the casing 4. Thus, a sand-bag pillars can be continuously constructed. |
