PURPOSE:To improve the operability and the turbine performance by providing the aperture of the partially inserted second stage and the following stages on the lower half side in a casing with a speed control stage nozzle inserted on the upper half side. CONSTITUTION:A speed control stage nozzle 3 is inserted in the upper half side, and the aperture of the partially inserted second stage and the following stages are provided on the lower half side, thereby the temperature gradient between the upper and lower half sides can be reduced. In addition, the starting point (a) of the second stage nozzle 5 is displaced from the starting point (b') of a nozzle 6 by a value shown as a deviation (S) in the rotating direction. Accordingly, the kinetic energy of steam at the nozzle outlet can be effectively utilized, and the operability and the turbine performance can be improved. |
