PURPOSE:To reduce the degree of dependability of the titled solar heat collector on the angle of incidence of the sunlight and to improve the heat collecting efficiency thereof by a method wherein a plurality of auxiliary reflecting plates are arranged around a heat collecting body provided with a substantially semicylindrical reflecting plate in such a manner that the auxiliary reflecting plates extend from the heat collecting body toward the open side of the reflecting plate in thermally insulated relationships from the heat collecting body. CONSTITUTION:A substantially semicylindrical reflecting plate 1 is fixed inside an outer glass pipe 6 by means of a plurality of ring-like stays 7, a heat collecting body 2 (or a heat medium pipe 4) is provided at a light converging section and a plurality of auxiliary reflecting plates 3 and 3' are arranged around the heat collecting body in such a manner that they extend radially outwardly about the center of the heat collecting body 2 leaving a gap (d) from, and in thermally insulated relationships with the latter. The auxiliary reflecting plates 3 and 3' consist of a flat reflecting plate 3' extending along the axis of symmetry of the cross section of the semicylindrical reflecting plate 1 and four sheets of concave reflecting plates 3 and are held stationary by means of a stay pin 8 extending downward from each of the stays 7, a semicircular connecting and lifting pin 9 and a semicircular connecting pin 10. |
