PURPOSE:To heighten safety, by providing a plurality of engine-driven pumps, auxiliary machines for preparing the starting of the pumps and an operation controller for increasing or decreasing the number of the working pumps, to prevent pumpwell water from abnormally rising. CONSTITUTION:A start preparation instruction 102 and an operation begin instruction 104 are applied from a pump number control circuit 16 to one-man pump control circuits 18. When the operation of a preceding pump 10 is started, the start preparation instruction 102 is applied to a succeeding pump 10 and the succeeding pump is made stand-by. When the start preparation instruction 102 is applied from the pump number control circuit 16 to the one-man pump control circuit 18, an auxiliary machine 12 is put in operation and the establishment of good state of lubricating oil 200, 202 and cooling water 204 is confirmed so that the pump 10 is made stand-by for working and the operation begin instruction 104 is applied from the pump number control circuit to the one-man pump control circuit 18. |
