PURPOSE:To obtain the precise replica of an ancient wooden note used for archives capable of expressing density, vivacity, and dashes or strokes of characters written in India ink, by coating a photographic emulsion on the outside of a wooden pieces almost resembling the wooded note, printing an image from a negative film obtained by photographing the genuine wooden note, and developing and fixing it. CONSTITUTION:A photographic emulsion is uniformly coated on the outside of a wooden piece shaped and colored so as to almost resemble the excavated genuine wodden note in external form, board thickness, size, color, wood quality, etc. to form a duplicated base board, and a full-scale wooden note is printed on this board from a negative film obtained by photographing the genuine wooden note befoe this time, and then undergoes developing and fixing treatments, thus permitting a large number of wooden note replicas each having an appearance unrecognizable from the genuine note in density, vivacity, and dashes or strokes, etc., of the characters written in India ink on the board to be prepared at low cost. |
