PURPOSE:The titled composition, prepared by incorporating specific fine talc and calcium carbonate in a composition consisting of ethylene-propylene resin and rubber, having a relatively low density and a well-balanced rigidity and impact resistance, improved scuff resistance on the surface of the molded articles, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by kneading (A) 53-89wt% propylene- ethylene block copolymeric resin having 1-25wt% ethylene content and 5- 30wt% soluble content in boiling xylene with (B) 7-1wt% ethylene-propylene copolymeric rubber with 25-60wt% propylene content and 20-120 Mooney viscosity, (C) 40-10wt% talc having >=30,000cm<2>/g specific surface area, 0.2-2.5mu particle diameter and 95wt% or more particles having <=10mu particle size and (D) 0-20wt% wet heavy or precipitated calcium carbonate having >=16,000cm<2>/ g specific surface area and 0.16-1.0mu particle diameter. The total amount of the soluble substance in the boiling xylene in the component (A) and the component (B) is 5-20wt% based on the composition, and the total amount of the components (C) and (D) is 10-40wt% based on the composition. |
