An article of furniture comprises a box 5 having at least one displaceable and removable tray 9 therein, the tray being disposable spaced from the box bottom and rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the tray and having a cutaway portion (13, Fig. 3, not shown) allowing access to articles below the tray. The box may be a circular cylinder and the tray circular. When the tray has the shape of a sector of a circle, it may be suspended from the edge of the box on the outside (Figs. 5-7, not shown). As shown, the tray 9 is mounted on a hollow, vertical, circular cylinder 10 open at the top, and the box 5 has a lid 8 pivotable on upwardly telescopable guides 15, 16 locked by ratchet means (Fig. 4, not shown) the underside of lid 8 preferably having a mirror 30 mounted thereon. |
