PURPOSE:To compact the titled device due to reducing a frictional loss and a driving force of a driving wheel, by reducing a friction between the inner wall surface of a fixed shoe block of a frictional-drive type extruding device and an extruding material with the aid of a lubricant. CONSTITUTION:In a frictional-drive type continuous extruding device, an extruding die 8 is provided in the vicinity of the rear end of a tubular path 6 formed between the grooved surface of a driving wheel 2 having a groove 3 in its outer peripheral surface and the inner wall surface 5 of a fixed shoe block 4 engaged with a part of the outer periphery of the wheel 2, and the rear end of the above- mentioned path 6 is closed by a projection 7 engaging with the outer peripheral groove 3. A solid lubricant or a sintered metal 11 added with a solid lubricant is filled up in a through hole 12 of the said shoe block 4 so as to be in contact with an extruding material 1 from the inner wall surface 10, and the wheel 2 is rotated while pressing the rear surface of the metal 11 by bolts, etc. (not shown in the figure) to send the metallic material 1 from the path 6 to the die 8, thereby obtaining a wire rod body 9. |
