PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic, containing a quaternary ammonium salt, a hydrophobic silicone and 1-hydroxy-2-pyridone salt, and capable of giving improved gloss and smoothness to the hair even on application to any one of the rinsing and unrinsing types. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic containing 0.1-10.0wt% compound of formulaI[R1 or R1 and R2 are 10-24C alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, etc.; R2, R3 and R4 or R3 and R4 are 1-3C alkyl or group of formula II (n is an integer 1-5; R5 is H or CH3); X is halogen or alkylsulfuric acid group], 0.1-5.0wt% hydrophobic silicone, e.g. methylpolysiloxane, and 0.05-3.0wt% compound formula III (R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, etc.; R2 is H, alkyl, phenyl, etc.; X is organic amine residue). The cosmetic is used in the form of a hair rinse, hair conditioner, hair lotion, etc. |
