<p>PURPOSE:To enable to solder a cathode coupling wire to the symmetry center of a pellet even when a gate is located in the center of a chip by a method wherein the cathode coupling wire is constituted in the form wherein the two mating parts are put together. CONSTITUTION:The cathode coupling wire 7 consists of two mating parts, each of which has a semicircular cylindrical part 7a with a groove 7c, to be used to support a gate lead wire 6, in the center and a soldering piece 7b which will be used to solder the cathode coupling wire to an upper reinforcement plate 3. Said two mating parts are faced each other and soldered to the upper reinforcement plate 3. According to this constitution, the cathode coupling wire 7 can be soldered to the symmetry center of the pellet even when the gate is located in the center of a thyristor chip 1. As a result, the installation and the incorporation into a stack and the like of the thyristor can be performed easily.</p> |
