PURPOSE:To reduce the probability to cause the same reading error and to ensure the reproduction of information with high reliability, by reading again the magnetic recorded information under the different conditions from those of the first reading after an error is caused for reading of the information. CONSTITUTION:For instance, the recorded information of a floppy disk is read out by a magnetic head 31. When an error is detected through an reading error detecting part 35, this occurrence of error is informed to an arithmetic controller 36. At the same time, the reading conditions available when the error arises are stored in a storing part 39 of conditions. Then the controller 36 produces the reading conditions different from those stored in the part 39 and feeds the conditions to an amplifier 32, a waveform shaping circuit 33 and a driving control part 37 to perform the reading again. If another error arises, the above-mentioned procedure is repeated. Then the data is fed to the controller when no error is detected any more. Thus the next reading operation is carried out. In such way, the information can be reproduced with a reduced number of reading errors. |
