The invention relates to a mixer, especially for tea, having a rotating mixing drum with a built-in dust removal nozzle, which sucks air containing dust from the mixing drum and blows dust-free air back into the mixing drum after cleaning. In order to improve the mixing effect, the inflow of cleaned air is open in a predefined region within the mixing drum. Some of the mixing material falls through this open region while the drum rotates, is carried along by the flow of air and released once again at another point within the mixing drum, at the outlet end of the dust removal nozzle. <IMAGE>
