PURPOSE:To realize polling function without destorying a control sequence of the G1 and G2 standards and the format of a control signal, by replacing the operation of a calling side and a called side. CONSTITUTION:When a GI signal from a called side is confirmed at polling at a calling side, a polling reception switch other than a normal reception switch is closed. Thus, no GC signal is transmitted at the reception like automatic reception and the GI signal is transmitted to a called side. Since the called side receives the GI signal from the caller side, the called side judges itself as the transmission side, and after the transmission of the GI signal, the GC signal and a phase signal are transmitted to the caller side through the reception of the GI signal. Thus, the operation of the caller and the called side is just replaced, and a picture signal transmitted from the called side is received at the caller side and polling is attained. |
