The invention relates to a circuit for phase-gating control of a thyristor or triac, especially for operation of electromagnetic vibration drives, by means of a monolithically integrated component as is described in DT-PS 2629831, with the improvement that an additional voltage controller is provided on the load, which uses as the sensed variable the voltage (which is the inverse of the voltage on the load) on the thyristor or triac and is connected to the integrated operational amplifier, via suitable circuitry, as the actual value.
