PURPOSE:To prevent the disorder of charge-distributed toner arrangement and the lowering of charge amounts by making the outlet end of a supporter coincide with the end of toner passage side in a multi-needle electrode in which plural needle electrodes are buried in the supporter. CONSTITUTION:A multi-needle electrode 40 has such a shape that the outlet end 200a of a supporter 200 is cut off in such a way as to make the outlet end C(the downstream end of the moving direction of a toner) of the supporter 200 coincide with the end 100a of the toner passage side of a charge-injecting electrode 100. Thus, charge-distributed toner arragement does not come into contact with the outlet end 220a of the supporter 200 through the electrode 100, and thereby the disorder of the toner arrangment and the lowering of charge amounts injected by frictional charging can be prevented. Furthermore, by biasing the outlet end C of the supporter 200 from the center of the electrode 100, an allowable range of the contacting angle theta of the electrode 100 on the periphery of a toner roller 1 can be widened. |
