The process is for cultivating green salad vegetables and in a first stage involves using seed boxes. Each box comprises a number of pots joined by an upper wall part and spaced a short distance apart. - In a second stage, the plants are transferred into pots (7) in final growth boxes (6). The pots are spaced apart, and are so short that the plant roots project downwards to a watering base (8). The final pots are of expanded plastics, and have an upper joining wall part which retains heat and prevents sunlight reaching the roots.(2) |
