PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a motor, by placing a rotary body for changing the traveling direction of an oscillation wave between a moving member and an elastic unit. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave motor is composed of a rotor and a stator S, and the stator S is provided with an elastic unit 2, and an oscillator 4 oscillating in the diameter direction and in the peripheral direction. By the oscillation of the oscillator 4, an oscillation wave is generated, and said rotor is rotated or driven. In this case, between the elastic unit 2 and said rotor (mover), a rotary body 3 is placed so that oscillation waves in the respectively relative directions forming a bending vibration may be converted to driving torque in the same direction. Then, the relative directions of the bending vibration can be converted to the same direction, and the efficiency of a motor can be improved. |
