摘要 |
PURPOSE:To control the rise in temperature of a coil by a method wherein the winding width of a holding coil is broadened than that of a closing coil. CONSTITUTION:A coil spool 5 is divided into two by WC and WH sizes and collars are provided at the place between the WC and WH and end faces to form a coil winding space for unitary construction. A closing coil CC is wound on the winding width section of WC and a holding coil HC is wound on the winding width section of WH. A magnetic iron core 6 is engaged in the hollow section of the spool 5 and is fixed to an L-shaped yoke 7 forming a magnetic path at the rear section. An armature 8 is arranged at the front with a fulcrum as the center and is absorbed by the excitation of the coils to perform closing operation of a main contact. In the coils having the same coil appearance such as total coil winding width (WC+WH) and winding thickness T or the like, the rising value of temperature is inversely proportional to nearly a square of the holding coil winding width WH and if the WH is some wider than about 1:1 of winding width division, the value is fallen in the range of a rise in temperature of this kind of coil. |
