PURPOSE:To change a work holder in such a way that in a lift-and-carry type of conveyor, a transfer bar is divided into plural segments in the longitudinal direction, and moving rate of each segment is made respectively different. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 9 is retracted by working a cylinder 8, and when lift arms 22, 47, and first, second links 12, 17 are stood, first, second segments 32, 33 are coalesced and sent up, and a work unshown in the figure is received by a work holder 29. Then, when a piston rod 6 is protruded by working a cylinder 5, the first segment 32, a rotary shaft 42, and first, second toothed wheels 44, 45 are moved just as much as the equivalent rate S, the first toothed wheel 44 is moved on a rack 40, and the rotary shaft is turned. The rotary movement is changed over to the straight movement by the second toothed wheel 45, and a second rack 46, and the second rack 46 is moved with the second segment 33 as much as the determined rate T to the first segment 32. In consequence, the second segment is moved as much as the total rate U. |
