A collision protection for the corners or supports of buildings or structures, such as in particular shelf installations, is mounted on the ground surface representing the roadway. In order to satisfy more effectively the conditions of safety regulations and moreover to manage with low production outlay as well as low manufacturing costs, the collision protection according to the invention consists of a conically-shaped protection body (1) which surrounds the corner or support (2) to be protected at least on two sides and on the circumference of which mounting tabs (3) are arranged. The conical protection body (1) is preferably of hollow design and has a vertical angle (6) which extends in the axis of the cone and can be connected to the inner surface of the protection body (1) by reinforcement ribs (7). <IMAGE>
