A sales package for small items is composed of a bottom part (1), which is open on one side and consists of a flat side (3) and a peripheral wall (4) perpendicular thereto, and a lid (2) which can be placed over the bottom part (1). Provided in each case on the opposite outside surfaces (5, 6) of the bottom part (1) are a pair of spaced-apart, outwardly projecting cams (7, 7'; 8, 8') which are located equidistantly from the upper edge of the bottom part and, after pressing in the elastic side surfaces, engage in depressions (12, 12') arranged in the lid. Engagement cutouts (16, 16') are recessed in the side surfaces of the lid (2) between the catch depressions (12, 12'; 13, 13'). Furthermore, locking elements (19, 10) for the insides of the bottom sidewalls (5, 6) can be arranged in the region of the cams (7, 7'; 8, 8') of the flat lid side (10) with spacing from said cams. <IMAGE>
