There is described a holding device for a stationary radiograph of a leg which comprises a U-shaped bracket having a rail and longitudinally displaceable lateral extension arms thereon, a support being mounted so as to be displaceable lengthwise on the rail for exertion of pressure with a measuring device for measurement and display of the pressure, and at least one counter-bearing and a foot part. For improvement of the holding device in such a way that a reliable check of the isolated rupture of the ligamentum fibolo talare anterius is possible via the ventral subluxation position of the talus with a lateral X-ray path without impairment of the further examination possibilities of the holding device it is provided that the foot part have at least one heel support formed by three plates arranged mutually perpendicular to one another.
