<p>PURPOSE:To permit the copying paper relatively thickened to be certainly furnished one by one by installing a flexible sheet member onto the restricting plate which restricts the slit through which copying paper is furnished. CONSTITUTION:The clutch plate 67 and the restriction plate 68 which restrict the slit 76 through which copying paper 72 is passed are installed on the front edge side in the direction 52 of transfer of the copying paper 72 in a paper feeding cassette 2, and the flexible sheet member 78 whose upper edge part 77 protrudes closely to the slit 76 is attached onto the restricting plate 68. With such a constitution, when the uppermost paper 72a is guided to the slit 76, also the paper 72b under the uppermost paper tends to move with friction, accompanied with the transfer of the edge 72a of the uppermost paper 72, but the transfer of the front edge part of the paper 72 is obstructed by the upper edge part 77 of the sheet 78 in frictional contact with the undersurface of the paper 72a, and the paper 72b does not move.</p> |
