High-voltage carrier-frequency coupling arrangement

A high-voltage carrier-frequency coupling arrangement is intended to be used to increase the breaking capacity of high-voltage power circuit breakers, in particular through the use of the short-line fault. This object is essentially achieved in that, in the event of a short-line fault on the overhead line, 1) a switch bypasses in current-dependent or voltage-dependent manner a high-frequency inductor coil disposed in the earth connection of the capacitive voltage transformer or of the coupling capacitor, and 2) a spark gap short-circuits a high-frequency line trap disposed in the overhead line, depending on the level of the short-circuit current.
