N-heterocyclyl-4-piperidine amines of the formula <IMAGE> where R is H or alkyl, R1 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, arylalkyl or alkanoyl, R2 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or arylalkyl, R3 is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, or CF3, n is an integer from 0 to 2, Q is CH or N, and L' is H, alkoxycarbonyl or phenylmethoxycarbonyl, with it being possible for the said alkyl groups to be substituted and to be heteroaryl. The compounds can be used as intermediates for preparing N-heterocyclyl-4- piperidineamines which have an antihistamine effect.
