Pipe wrench with a first, rail-like lever handle (10) with a jaw (12) fastened to it and a second lever handle (22) likewise provided with a jaw (20). A lever handle (30) is linked to the lever handle (22) for the continuously adjustable variation of the opening of the wrench. The lever handle (30) has a guide opening through which the first lever handle passes and tilts on the first lever handle during the clamping of an object in such a way that the continuously variable open size of the wrench is thereby fixed.
