Windsurf board with standing surface, process for manufacture thereof and use thereof

A windsurf board with standing surface and a process for manufacturing the windsurf board with a surface layer of polyethylene and grains or the like of high melting-point mineral particles fixed on said surface layer in the area of a standing surface to increase the roughness, the polyethylene layer being blown in a mould, should permit in a simple manner a permanent anchoring of roughness-producing particles in the surface of the blow-moulded polyethylene layer. To achieve this, metal or mineral particles are heated and fused into the surface of the preferably blow-moulded polyethylene layer. In this process the heated particles should be directed at high velocity at the polyethylene surface, preferably applied with a spray gun. This surface also serves as an adhesive substrate in order to apply surface coatings to the windsurf board - or else other polyethylene objects.
