PURPOSE:To provide a device which can highly precisely measure a load applied to a member which is flexible and susceptible to deform, by a method wherein a load applied to the flexible member is transferred to a load converter through a cover plate having a columnar projection sheet. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of big load measuring devices 27 is aligned between a lower support plate and an upper support plate, which is flexible and susceptible to deform, to measure a load. The big load measuring device 27 is provided with a load converter 20, which has a toroidal projection part 23 at an upper end surface 22 and strain gauges 24 adhered to inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a cylinder, and an upper cover plate 25 which has a columnar projection sheet at a center and is placed on the projection part of the load converter 20. Even if the upper support plate is deformed and is brought into a nonuniform distribution state, this constitution causes concentrating of the nonuniform load to a projection 26 on the upper cover plate 25, which results in applying an equalized stress to the projection 23 on the load converter 20. This permits the high-precise measurement of the load. |
