PURPOSE:To facilitate replacement of component parts of a valve and inspection and cleaning of the inside of the valve, by fitting a bonnet into a valve body, and assembling all of trim parts such as a plug, a seat ring, etc. in the bonnet. CONSTITUTION:Thread is cut in the inner peripheral surface of an inner chamber 15 formed in a valve body 11, and a bonnet 18 is threaded into the inner chamber 15. A seat ring 23 is press fitted to the lower end of a through-hole 22 formed in the bonnet 18 to extend through the inside thereof at its central part, and a valve shaft 30 associated with the seat ring 23 is inserted into the through-hole 22. Further, bores 33 are formed in the bonnet 18 at its lower part to communicate a fluid outlet passage 17 and an annular chamber 32 with each other. With such an arrangement, the apparatus functions as a valve by moving the valve shaft 30 back and forth and thereby controlling the clearance between the seat ring 23 and a plug 31 formed at the top of the shaft 30. In case of inspection of the inside or replacement of the component parts of the valve, the valve shaft 30, seat ring 23 and plug 31 can be detached altogether by unscrewing the bonnet 18 from the valve body 11. |
