摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a reset shock in neutral control from occurring, by restricting a rise in a suction air quantity irrespective of operation of an accelerator pedal at an interval till a frictional engaging mechanism is reset to the specified engaging pressure after completion of the neutral control over an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:In a suction passage of an internal combustion engine M1, there is provided with a suction control valve M7 which opens or closes this suction passage without interlocking with an accelerator pedal M5. Also there is provided with a device M8 which monitors an operating state of a neutral controlling device M6 and, after stopping the operation, detects a fact that engaging pressure of a frictional engaging mechanism M3 in an automatic transmission M4 is reset. In addition, there is provided with a device M9 which drives and controls the suction control valve M7 as setting an operating quantity of the accelerator pedal M5 down to zero, irrespective of the operating quantity of the accelerator pedal M5, at an interval till the rest of the engaging pressure in the frictional engaging mechanism M3 is detected by the said detecting device M8. With this constitution, a reset shock in neutral control is prevented from occurring.
